young at art MIXED MEDIA CLASS for adults

AGES: Adults, 18 years old and up

This class is perfect for young and mature adults, who have always had a passion for the art or simply want to try something new and creative. The course will go through a range of mediums such as pencils, charcoal, color pencil, watercolor, and acrylics. Students will have the chance to familiarize themselves with concepts and build their techniques and skills in every class. Students will be encouraged and challenged to create things they have never imagined they could do before. We will utilize projects and critique them as ways to test student’s techniques and knowledge of the material.

Classes meet once a week for 2 hours.

No previous experience in drawing technique is required to enroll in this class.

Required Supplies: acrylic paint set, watercolor wheel, pencil and charcoal set, color pencil set, apron, plastic palette and palette knife, brush set, canvas pad, gray scale pad, sketchpad, drawing clipboard 

Required supplies, carefully selected for your class, are available for purchase at our retail store. 

For Introductory Class students, all art supplies and materials are provided during the first class. We are excited to help you create your own master piece at Miami Fine Arts Academy!
