DRAWING, 8-13 A/B

AGES: 8-13 years old

This class introduces students to the basic concepts and techniques of drawing.  Students will learn everything, from line to weight and grayscale, and much more.  Our pre-teens can copy drawings of master artists to learn and improve technique. We also encourage students to develop original ideas and techniques to better express themselves.  Students in this age category will work on more sophisticated concepts and advanced projects.  

Classes meet once a week for 75 minutes.

Students can also combine drawing and painting classes for total of 2.5 hours per week.

Required Supplies: lead pencils (HB, 2B, 4B, 6B), eraser, stump, sketchbook, black ball point pen

MIXED MEDIA 8-13 A/B

AGES: 8-13 years old

This class introduces students to the basic concepts and techniques of various mixed art media.  Students will have a chance to explore new and exciting techniques, such as blending, color harmonizing, amongst others, while emphasizing on the conceptual aspect of the given project.  The course is designed to help students expand their imagination and change the way they see things to better enhance their artistic abilities.   Our pre-teens can copy paintings of master artists to learn and improve technique. We also encourage students to develop original ideas and techniques to better express themselves.
