The Academy's New Sprung Dance Floor

We can't wait to receive all of you at the new Miami Fine Arts Academy facility.  This week we began installing the dance floor, a sprung floor designed to absorb shocks, giving it a softer feel.  Such floors are considered the best available for dance and indoor physical education, as they enhance performance and greatly reduce injuries.  We purchased our new sprung floor system from O'Mara Sprung Floors, the industry leader (check them out at: sprungfloors.com).  This will be one of many new features offered in our state of the art facility, opening next month. Make sure to stop by and check out the dance room!

Safety is provided by closed-cell foam blocks that suspend the dance floor above the existing concrete floor.
